UPDATED and IMPROVED!
The Compensating Development Timer takes the hit-and-miss out of timing the development of photographic film and paper under off-nominal temperature conditions. By measuring the temperature of the developing solution continually during development and adjusting the timer rate accordingly, correct development is assured even as temperatures vary.
The timer is designed to be extremely simple to use — it is simply a digital stopclock which runs at a rate determined by the temperature of the developer solution.
Features include: Ilford Time-Temperature developing chart implementation (temperature coefficient 2.5 per 10°C), large clear LED display, illuminated run/reset switch, safelight-red adjustable display brightness, chemical-resistant fascia, high-precision stainless-steel thermistor sensor, tenth-degree temperature resolution, user-settable °F/°C display, user-settable sound interval (off, 30, 60 or 120 seconds), digital thermometer mode when timer is not running, and high-efficiency LED displays for long battery life (>1000 hours with display dimmed).
Supplied with temperature sensor, foot switch, mounting screws, mounting template, tank gland for developing tank, and tray clamp for developing tray. Battery-powered (2×AA included).
